Dry air dominates area, with a high of 76 today

Conditions conducive to fire growth will be possible again today with dry air dominating the area, the National Weather Service said.

Relative humidity values will drop into the 20 to 30 percent range again today, with a light and variable wind complicating things as the wind direction will not be steady or consistent, according to the weather service.

Otherwise, the forecast today is sunny with a high near 76, the weather service said. The north northwest wind will be 8 mph, changing to east northeast in the afternoon.

Tonight, expect mostly clear skies and a low of 50, the weather service said.

On Thursday, it will be sunny with a high near 77, according to the weather service. A light and variable wind will become north 8 to 13 mph in the afternoon.

Thursday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 43, the weather service said. The north wind will be 8 to 11 mph.

Friday, it will be sunny with a high near 62, and a north wind of 7 to 11 mph, the weather service said. Friday night, it will be mostly clear with a low of 41, according to the weather service.

Saturday’s weather will be mostly sunny, with a high near 58, according to the weather service. Saturday night, the low will be 45.

Sunday’s high will be 68 with mostly sunny skies, and Sunday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 53, the weather service said.
