Driver’s license services restored after temporary glitch today

A technical malfunction with imaging software earlier today prevented some residents from getting their driver’s license, according to officials.

The glitch has since been fixed, according to a news release from the Kansas Department of Revenue. The malfunction had prevented temporary paper credentials from printing statewide.

The driver’s license process is now working again, and offices will be open until 6 p.m. today, according to the news release.

The driver’s license offices will be closed from Saturday, Dec. 23, through Monday, Dec. 25, for the holiday.
