A Kansas City, Kansas, man was injured in a chase after a law enforcement pursuit on Kaw Drive under I-635, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash log.
A Honda Civic was eastbound on Kaw Drive near 40th about 9:51 a.m. Jan. 1 when the driver attempted to elude law enforcement, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver lost control of the Civic, hitting the guardrail on the right shoulder, and then striking a bridge pillar on the right shoulder before coming to a stop, the report stated.
The 46-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man driving the Civic had a minor injury and was taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
