A driver fell asleep at the wheel of a Ford pickup truck at 3:15 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, on westbound I-70 near 10th Street in Kansas City, Kansas.
The driver, a 40-year-old man from Commerce City, Colo., hit the median wall after falling asleep, according to the Kansas Turnpike Authority trooper’s report. He had a possible injury, the report stated.
A 57-year-old Commerce City, Colo., man who was a passenger in the pickup also had possible injuries, the report said.
