A driver on eastbound I-70 near the 57th Street exit fell asleep Tuesday night and hit a vehicle, according to a Kansas Turnpike Authority trooper’s report.
The accident happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday.
A 22-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man driving a Monte Carlo fell asleep, was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the report.
The driver of a four-door Saturn, a 32-year-old Kansas City, Kan., resident, was not injured, according to the report.
