A driver fell asleep before crashing on I-70 on Thursday night, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
The injury-accident was reported at 10:52 p.m. Thursday, March 14, on westbound I-70, east of the I-435 exit.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, a 29-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man drivng a 2014 Cadillac passenger car fell asleep, went off the roadway and into a ditch.
The driver was taken to a hospital with a possible minor injury, according to the trooper’s report.
