A double shooting left one person dead and another in serious condition in the 1300 block of South 29th Street just before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, police spokesman.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department is investigating the homicide and shooting, the spokesman stated.
Officers were dispatched to the location on a shooting. They discovered two males outside a residence, the victims of an apparent shooting, the spokesman stated.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to a hospital in serious condition, according to the spokesman.
The suspect fled in a vehicle before officers arrived, the spokesman stated.
