Cub Scouts race cars in Pinewood Derby

Cub Scouts from through the Kansas City area participated in the Pinewood Derby Race Saturday, March 4, held at the General Motors Fairfax plant in Kansas City, Kansas. Scouts made miniature wood cars and entered them in the race. The event, sponsored by UAW Local 31, the GM Fairfax plant and the Kaw District of the Heart of America Council of Boy Scouts, also included a fundraiser for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, with proceeds helping Scouts attend summer camp.
