A 64-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman was involved in an accident at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 20 on I-35 southbound, just north of 75th Street in Merriam, Kan.
The driver’s Toyota Camry was southbound on I-35 when the driver applied the brakes as another vehicle changed lanes in front of it, the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Camry lost control and swerved to the left, striking the barrier wall, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver was taken to the hospital with a possible injury.
