A crash was reported at 2:25 p.m. Thursday, June 15, on eastbound I-70 near the Turner Diagonal, according to a Kansas Turnpike Authority trooper’s report.
According to the trooper’s report, a Chevrolet Impala was forced to slow in heavy traffic, when a Chevrolet Avalanche attempted to swerve to avoid hitting another vehicle and then hit the Impala.
The driver of the Avalanche, a 25-year-old man from Kansas City, Mo., was injured and taken to the hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Impala, a 33-year-old Overland Park, Kan., woman, was injured and taken to the hospital, the report stated.
