A Jeep Patriot stopped on northbound I-635, north of K-5, and then was struck by a Hyundai Tiburon, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
The crash happened at 9:23 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, in Kansas City, Kan.
The trooper’s report stated that the Jeep had come to a stop because of a crash ahead, and was blocking the left lane. Then the Jeep tried to merge to the right lane. The Hyundai struck the rear of the Jeep, the report stated.
The driver of the Jeep, a 25-year-old Kansas City, Mo., man, had a possible injury and was taken to a hospital, the report stated.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 26-year-old man from Kansas City, Mo., was not injured, according to the report.
