A crash at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, on southbound K-7, south of Riverview, resulted in two injuries, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
A Ford Edge was stopped for traffic on southbound K-7, when a Chevrolet Impala struck it in the rear, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Impala, a 69-year-old Tonganoxie, Kan., woman, was injured and taken to a hospital, the report stated.
The driver of the Edge, a 45-year-old Leavenworth, Kan., man, also was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
