A crash on I-635 southbound near the I-70 overpass in Kansas City, Kan., on June 24 caused an injury, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
A Buick Encore was southbound on I-635 behind a Nissan Frontier around 3 p.m., according to the trooper’s report.
The Nissan had slowed down significantly, and the Encore did not slow down in time, striking the rear of the Nissan, the report stated.
The driver of the Encore, a 30-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman, was injured and taken to a hospital, the report said.
The driver of the Nissan, a 39-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman, was not injured, according to the report. A 60-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman and a 13-year-old Kansas City, Kan., girl in the Nissan also were not injured, the report said.
