COVID-19 cases found throughout Wyandotte County

Where are the highest numbers of COVID-19 cases in Wyandotte County? Cases are found all over the county, according to a 14-day Zip Code map of cases.

According to a Unified Government COVID-19 webpage map, the highest numbers of cases over the past 14 days have been in the 66102 Zip Code area, which reported 185. The map is at https://wyandotte-county-covid-19-hub-unifiedgov.hub.arcgis.com/.

The 66104 area reported 104 cases, and the 66106 area reported 97, according to the COVID-19 webpage map.

Next was the 66109 area, with 76 cases, followed by 66103 with 65 cases and 66101 with 62 cases, according to the map.

The 66112 area had 33 cases, followed by the 66111 area with 19 cases, the 66012 area with 13 cases and the 66105 area with 10 cases, according to the map.

The map of the last 14 days is different from the map of all positive cases in Wyandotte County, but 66102 also leads the overall map with 1,506 cases. Next is 66104 with 921 cases, followed by 66106 with 697, 66101 with 598, 66102 with 522 and 66112 with 448.

Wyandotte County reported 5,549 cumulative COVID-19 cases and 111 deaths at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, according to the Unified Government COVID-19 webpage.

The KC Region COVID-19 Resource Hub reported 29,687 positive cumulative COVID-19 cases on Saturday, Aug. 22, with 449 cumulative deaths in the nine-county area.

Johnson County had 7,167 cumulative cases with 110 cumulative deaths, according to the KC Region hub. Leavenworth County reported 1,569 cumulative cases and 9 deaths, according to the hub.

Kansas City, Missouri, reported 7,719 positive cumulative COVID-19 cases and 87 cumulative deaths, according to the hub.

On Friday, the state of Kansas reported a total of 36,856 cumulative COVID-19 cases with 419 total deaths, according to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Sedgwick County (the Wichita area) had 6,386 total cases, according to KDHE.
