Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Kansas City, Kansas just opened for its 2018 season.
The park opened Friday, and it was crowded on Monday, Memorial Day, when many visitors were finding relief from the heat index of 98 degrees.
I really like the food this year, such as the loaded funnel cakes with ice cream. Those who like to eat healthy will find all types of salads, such as a grilled chicken salad, on this year’s menu at Schlitterbahn.
One of my favorite attractions is the lazy river float – no better way to relax.
I was there on Memorial Day and was surprised at how busy it was.
