Fire danger returns Wednesday
Today’s high will be around 43 degrees, with the temperature may rise to 55 on Wednesday, when a fire weather threat will return, according to the National Weather Service.
Gusty northwest winds will return to the area on Wednesday following the passage of another cold front, the weather service said.
These winds will combine with low relative humidity and dry surface fuels to result in another afternoon of elevated fire danger, according to the weather service. As a result, outdoor burning is not recommended on Wednesday.
Today, it will be sunny with a high of 43 and a northwest wind of 3 to 8 mph, the weather service said.
Tonight, it will be mostly clear, with a low around 33, and a southwest wind of 5 to 9 mph, according to the weather service.
Wednesday, the high will be near 55 with sunny skies and a southwest wind of 10 to 15 mph becoming northwest 16 to 21 mph in the afternoon, the weather service said. Winds could gust as high as 32 mph.
Wednesday night, the low will be around 30 with partly cloudy skies, according to the weather service. A north northwest wind of 6 to 15 mph may gust to 23 mph.
Thursday, the high will be near 42 with mostly cloudy skies and a west northwest wind of around 7 mph, the weather service said.
Thursday night, there is a 20 percent chance of rain and snow before 10 p.m., then a slight chance of snow between 10 p.m. and midnight, according to the weather service. The low will be around 28.
Friday, the high will be near 47 with mostly sunny skies, the weather service said.
Friday night, the low will be around 33 with mostly clear skies, according to the weather service.
Saturday, the high will be near 56 with mostly sunny skies, the weather service said.
Saturday night, the low will be around 34 with partly cloudy skies, according to the weather service.
Sunday, the high will be near 49 with mostly sunny skies, the weather service said.
