Program offered on raising safe kids
A program will be offered on raising safe kids on eight Mondays beginning Sept. 12 at the Keeler Women’s Center, 2220 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kan. “ACT Raising Safe Kids” program will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Mondays. Memory to be topic of program
The Master of Memory Series will be offered from 9:30 to 11 on Tuesdays, Sept. 13, 20 and 27, at the Keeler Women’s Center, 2200 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kan. It is a four-week series for men and women created by Texas A&M Extension Service. Leavenworth Road Association to meet Sept. 13
The Leavenworth Road Association will meet Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Eisenhower Recreation Center, 2901 N. 72nd, Kansas City, Kan. Workshop focuses on codependency
A Codependency Series will be offered from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, 21 and 28, at the Keeler Women’s Center, 2220 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kan. United Way of Wyandotte County to hold golf fundraiser on Sept. 15
Golfers are invited to the second annual golf tournament of the United Way of Wyandotte County. It will be held on Thursday, Sept. 15, at Painted Hills Golf Course, Parallel Parkway and College in Kansas City, Kan. The tournament is presented by Victory Automotive Group. The tournament fee of $125 per golfer includes lunch at noon and a modified shotgun start at 1 p.m. for 18 holes. There will be a goodie bag, door prizes and cash prizes for first, second and third place winning teams. ‘Stay Strong, Stay Healthy’ program offered
The “Stay Strong, Stay Healthy” program will focus on improving the health and well-being of older adults.
