Clydesdales travel through Legends Outlets

The clip-clop of Clydesdale hoofs was heard today at The Legends Outlets above the background roar of car engines practicing for the races on Friday and Saturday at the Kansas Speedway.

The Budweiser Clydesdales visited restaurants along Village West Parkway on Thursday afternoon. On board their wagon were cases of beer.

The Clydesdales were scheduled to visit not just restaurants, but also the apartment of a firefighter who won a case of beer in a contest sponsored by the distributor, Wil Fischer Companies of Kansas.

The Clydesdales also are scheduled to be at Danny’s Bar and Grill, near 109th and Parallel Parkway, today at 6 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.

Today’s break in the rainy weather this afternoon was good news for the Clydesdales, who will not go out when it is raining.

The Clydesdales also are scheduled to be in front of Hollywood Casino from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, and at the Kansas Speedway, in the front of the gate area, from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday. They will not, however, be out in the rain.
