Temperatures were 40 degrees at 9 a.m. Thursday, as compared with Wednesday’s 75-degree weather.
Today’s high will be near 45, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Winds will be from the north northwest from 15 to 20 mph, gusting to 30 mph, the weather service said.
Friday, expect mostly sunny skies and a high near 43. Friday night, the low will be around 31.
A storm system is expected to move into the area this weekend, the weather service said.
Precipitation is expected to begin as rain on Saturday before changing to snow on Saturday night and continuing into Sunday, according to the weather service. Light accumulations appear possible at this time across the outlook area, the weather service said.
