A child has died from injuries in an accident at 6:50 p.m. Monday near 4th and Quindaro in Kansas City, Kansas.
A mother and child were hit by a vehicle that was westbound on Quindaro.
According to a police spokesman, the two were taken to the hospital in critical condition, and the child has died.
The child ran into the street, with the mother pursuing, when both were hit by a passing vehicle, the police spokesman stated.
The driver of the vehicle pulled over at the accident, and is cooperating with police, the spokesman added.
