Kansas City, Kansas, police reported that they tried to stop a car traveling at a high rate of speed near North 12th and Esplanade overnight.
The suspect crashed in a single-vehicle accident near 12th and Quindaro, where the pursuit ended, according to a post by police on social media.
The suspect, who was intoxicated, was taken into custody and booked at the jail, according to police.
