Isolated thunderstorms may develop later this evening across the region, with more rain and thunderstorms possible on Saturday, according to the weather service. Wyandotte County is more likely to have thunderstorms on Saturday.
Today, there is a 20 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms after noon, with a high near 75, the weather service said. An east northeast wind of 6 to 10 mph will gust as high as 18 mph.
Tonight, there is a 60 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 a.m., according to the weather service. There may be patchy fog after midnight. The low will be around 62 with an east northeast wind around 8 mph. Between a tenth and quarter-inch of rain is possible.
Saturday, there is an 80 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms, with a high near 77 and a southeast wind of 6 to 8 mph, the weather service said. Patchy fog is possible before 11 a.m. Between a quarter and half-inch of rain is possible.
Saturday night, there is a 50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms before 1 a.m., with a low of 57, according to the weather service. A calm wind will become northwest around 6 mph after midnight. Between a tenth and quarter-inch of rain is possible.
Sunday, it will be partly sunny, with a high near 71 and a north northwest wind of 6 to 10 mph, gusting as high as 22 mph, the weather service said.
