A chain-reaction wreck on a ramp on westbound I-70 involved three vehicles on Wednesday, Nov. 5.
According to the Kansas Turnpike Authority trooper’s report, three vehicles were on a ramp near I-70 and K-7 at 4:33 p.m. when a Ford Focus stopped on the ramp.
A Toyota Sienna in back of the Focus then stopped, and a Chevrolet Trailblazer then ran into the back of the Sienna, pushing it into the Focus, the trooper’s report stated.
A 28-year-old Lawrence, Kan., woman in the Sienna was injured and taken to the hospital, according to the report.
The other drivers, a 23-year-old Basehor, Kan., man and a 60-year-old Tonganoxie, Kan., woman, were not injured, according to the report.
