Today’s high will be 83, and highs in the low 80s and high 70s will continue through Thursday, the weather service said.
Then, on Friday, temperatures drop, with a high near 59, according to the weather service.
Friday night’s temperature will be the low for the week, at 38. Saturday morning could see the first freeze of the season for some areas north of I-70, the weather service said.
While a weak cold front is pushing through the area on Tuesday night and Wednesday, the chance for rain is very limited in Wyandotte County.
Today, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 83 and a south wind of 5 to 7 mph, the weather service said.
Tonight, there will be increasing clouds, with a low of 61 and a southeast wind of 6 mph, according to the weather service.
Wednesday, it will be cloudy through mid-morning, then gradually clear, with a high near 81, the weather service said. A light and variable wind will become west northwest 5 to 9 mph in the morning.
Wednesday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 55 and a northwest wind of 3 to 6 mph, according to the weather service.
Thursday, it will be sunny, with a high near 79 and a light west northwest wind becoming north 8 to 13 mph in the morning, with winds gusting as high as 21 mph, the weather service said.
