UG’s ARPA subcommittee to meet

Warmer, windy weather in forecast

The next few days will be warmer and windy, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Today’s high will be near 73, while Friday’s will be near 82, the weather service said.

Winds will pick up Friday, with gusts as high as 26 mph, according to the weather service. There will be a high fire danger on Sunday afternoon, due to winds and dry conditions.

There is a chance of thunderstorms and showers on Sunday night, the weather service said. Highs will be in the 60s after a cold front moves through.

Today, it will be sunny with a high near 73 and a southwest wind of 8 mph, the weather service said.

Tonight, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 48 and a southwest wind of 3 to 6 mph, according to the weather service.

Friday, it will be sunny, with a high near 82 and a south southwest wind of 8 to 15 mph, gusting as high as 26 mph, the weather service said.

Friday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 59 and a south wind of 11 mph, gusting as high as 28 mph, according to the weather service.

Saturday, it will be sunny, with a high near 82 and a south wind of 11 to 20 mph, gusting as high as 28 mph, the weather service said.
