Windy weather contributes to elevated fire conditions

Winds gusting as high as 33 mph today will contribute to elevated fire weather conditions today, according to the National Weather Service.

A southerly air flow will keep temperatures from falling too much tonight, when the low will be around 23, the weather service said.

The wind chill for early Saturday morning will be between 8 degrees below zero to 8 degrees above zero, according to the weather service.

The weather will warm up during the day Saturday, when the high will be near 42, the weather service said. Cloudy skies will keep the temperatures from climbing very high.

Winds will pick up Friday night and Saturday, gusting into the low 20s, according to the weather service.
