Several Piper High School students signed with colleges this week.

The signees included Nate Hays, Benedictine University; Travon Jones, Hutchinson Community College; Jaelon Johnson, Ft. Scott Community College; and Colton Beebe, University of Minnesota.

Beebe, a defensive end and linebacker, is a two-time Bobby Bell Award winner who was ranked as a three-star prospect by ESPN, and listed by others as the No. 14 prospect in Kansas. While at Piper he was named to the first-team all-state squad. He made 13 touchdowns his senior year, rushing for 427 yards.
