Blessed Sacrament, Christ the King and Our Lady and St. Rose Catholic churches will hold Masses on Palm Sunday, March 28. Easter Sunday services on April 4 will be the usual Sunday schedule.

Casa – Worship House Christian Church, 5217 Leavenworth Road, Kansas City, Kansas, will have Palm Sunday services at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 28. Stony Point Christian Church, 149 S. 78th St., Kansas City, Kansas, will have services at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, March 28. Services also will be livestreamed on its Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/StonyPointChristianChurch.

St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas, will hold Mass in person and online for Sunday, March 28, at https://www.facebook.com/StPatrickKCK. Palm Sunday Masses are at 7:30 a.m, 9:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. March 28 in English, and at 12:45 p.m. in Spanish and 2:30 p.m. in Burmese on March 28. Mass on Holy Thursday, April 1, will be at 7 p.m. Services on Good Friday, April 2, will be at 3 p.m. in English and 7 p.m. bilingual. The Easter Vigil Mass will be at 8:15 p.m. Saturday, April 3. Easter Sunday Masses will be at 7:30 a.m., 9:15 a.m., 11 a.m. and in English on April 4, and at 12:45 p.m. in Spanish and 2:30 p.m. in Burmese on April 4.

Easter Bunny to make appearance Saturday and Sunday at NFM

The Easter Bunny will make an appearance from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Nebraska Furniture Mart, 1601 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas.

Children will have an opportunity to take a selfie, socially distanced, with the Easter Bunny.

The first 100 kids each day will receive a Kid’s Crafterday kit and free gift.

A six-foot distance will be maintained between everyone. Staff will not take photos of the children, but a family member or friend can take photos of the child and the Easter Bunny.

Faith news

Some faith groups are holding online or video services. In Wyandotte County, those who are older than 60 or who have other medical conditions should continue being very cautious, according to the Wyandotte County health officials. Those who are sick should stay home, according to officials.

Some churches have been changing their services as a result of COVID-19 restrictions for the community. Residents are advised to visit the social media page of their church or faith organization, or to call them or email them, to see changes that have been made to regular schedules, or if there are video services planned on Sunday.

St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas, has a Lenten mission scheduled, “Fatherhood in the Year of St. Joseph,” at 6:30 p.m. March 22 to 24 at the church. The mission will be in person, and it also will be livestreamed on the church’s Facebook page. Mass is in person and online for Sunday, March 21, at https://www.facebook.com/StPatrickKCK. The church has Masses scheduled at 5 p.m. Saturday, and on Sunday at 7:30 a.m., 9:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. in English, 12:45 p.m. in Spanish and 2:30 p.m. in Burmese. St. Patrick will have a drive-up fish dinner at 4:30 p.m. each Friday in Lent. Vehicles will enter on 94th Street, and then go to the parish center.
