Democratic breakfast group to meet Saturday

The Wyandotte County Democratic Breakfast will meet in person at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 19, at Jalisco’s Mexican Restaurant, 5000 State Ave., Kansas City, Kansas.

Speakers will include State Sen. Jeff Pittman, D-5th Dist., and Kristie Welder, an attorney considering a run for attorney general of Kansas.

The meeting is open to all Democrats. There is no charge this Saturday, and the event will include free doughnuts, coffee, juice and water.

Those who plan to attend should RSVP by Friday to scottmackey08@yahoo.com.

All candidates who are registered Democratic voters may bring campaign signs and materials to distribute Saturday.

In July, the group will return to a breakfast from a food service worker, at a location to be determined later.
