Air Force Airman Sarah L. Catron graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Catron is the daughter of Michelle and Larry Catron of Bonner Springs.
She is a 2013 graduate of Bonner Springs High School.

Leppke graduates from Creighton
Brandon Leppke of Bonner Springs, graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Arts and Sciences during Creighton University’s commencement ceremony on May 17, at the CenturyLink Center, Omaha, Neb.
Creighton University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution located in Omaha, Neb., enrolls more than 4,100 undergraduate and 3,200 professional school and graduate students.
Jensen named to dean’s list
Rachael Jensen of Bonner Springs, Kan., has been named to the Dean’s List at Simpson University for the spring 2014 semester. Jensen’s major is psychology.
To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must have a semester grade-point average of 3.50 or higher.
Simpson University is in Redding, Calif.
