Santa’s Express


Children and families visited with Santa Claus at the station during Santa’s Express Saturday at the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame, 126th and State Avenue, Bonner Springs, The event continues through 4 p.m. Saturday and will be from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Photos with Santa Claus in the train depot, riding on a train, seeing a puppet show and viewing the Christmas on the farm decorations are part of the events. There will be hot chocolate and cookies. Santa’s Express planned Saturday, Sunday at Ag Hall

Santa’s Express is planned on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 8-9, at the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame, 126th and State Avenue, Bonner Springs.

Children may get their photo taken with Santa Claus in the train depot, ride a train, go on a hayride and view the Christmas on the farm decorations.

The Paul Mesner Puppets will entertain, along with three singing groups.

Cookies and hot chocolate will be served, and there will be visits to Santa.

There also is a 5K run and 1-mile reindeer walk on Dec. 8.

Hours of Santa’s Express are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9.

The cost of the event is a $5 per car, donation at the gate.
