Eleven people in a van suffered possible injuries after a collision Friday, Nov. 6, at I-435 at Wolcott Drive in Kansas City, Kan.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, a van with 11 people from Nebraska was northbound on I-435 when it stopped in the lane. A Dodge car in back of it was unable to stop in time and ran into the back of the van, the report stated.
The driver of the Dodge, an 18-year-old woman from Kansas City, Mo., was injured and taken to a hospital in Kansas City, Kan., according to the report.
The 11 people in the Ford van, who were all from Winnebago, Neb., had possible injuries, the report stated. They included the driver, a 35-year-old Nebraska woman; and the passengers, four women who were 17 years old, and also two women who were ages 18 and 39. Also listed with possible injuries were four men, two who were 18 years old and two who were 17 years old, all from Winnebago, Neb.
