Three vehicles, including one that was being pulled by a tow chain, were involved in a multi-vehicle accident Sunday on I-635 in Kansas City, Kan.
The accident happened at 5:40 p.m. Dec. 6 on northbound I-635 near Metropolitan Avenue, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
A Ford Ranger truck was pulling a Chrysler Pacifica on I-635 with a log chain, according to the trooper’s report.
A Ford passenger car rear-ended the Pacifica, causing the Pacifica to hit the Ranger, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the truck, a 25-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man, was not injured, according to the trooper’s report. Two male passengers, a 4-year-old and 2-year-old, also were not injured, the report stated.
The driver of the Pacifica, a 24-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman, had a possible injury, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Ford passenger car, a 96-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man, was injured and taken to a hospital, the report said.
