A car overturned Dec. 22 on I-635 northbound, south of the 38th Street exit in Kansas City, Kan.
The Chevy sedan was northbound on I-635 about 1:25 p.m. Tuesday when the accident happened, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
The car began drifting onto the left shoulder, swerved back to the right and overcorrected left, then struck a concrete median barrier and overturned as it crossed lanes of traffic to the right, the trooper’s report stated. The vehicle then came to rest upright.
The driver, a 22-year-old man from Elmhurst, Ill., was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
It was raining and pavements in Kansas City, Kan., were wet at various times on Tuesday.
