A Chevy Monte Carlo fleeing from law enforcement hit a Toyota Camry on Tuesday afternoon at 82nd and Parallel Parkway in Kansas City, Kansas.
According to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, the crash happened about 2:10 p.m. Nov. 28.
The trooper’s report stated that the Monte Carlo was northbound on 82nd Street, south of Parallel, fleeing from law enforcement. The Monte Carlo then struck the rear of the Camry, the trooper’s report stated.
Two injuries were reported.
A 58-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, woman driving the Camry was injured and taken to the hospital, the report stated.
The driver who was fleeing from police, a 28-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man, also was injured and taken to a hospital, the report said. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
