Virtual candidate forums for the general election Nov. 3 are being shown on cable television and on YouTube starting this week.
The forums were sponsored by Business West and Kansas City Kansas Community College.
The local races with candidates for state representative and state senate are featured in the forum.
The general election will be Nov. 3, and in-person early voting will start Oct. 20.
Mail-in ballots are available at the election office.
On Election Day, Nov. 3, the polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The forums are on KCEC cable channel on Spectrum Cable (Wyandotte County) on Channel 17, and on Google TV on Channel 146. The forums will be shown now through Nov. 2.
The KCKCC Media Services Department worked on the cable production for the forum, and scheduled the forums on KCEC cable channel.
The forums are about two hours long each.
