The World War I Museum and Memorial at the Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, Mo., is offering free admission for veterans this weekend.
Bus rides today are free to veterans on RideKC transit service, according to the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority.

Kansas City area Subway restaurants have announced a free 6-inch sub sandwich for all veterans and active duty members of the armed forces on Friday, Nov. 11.
Many other restaurants, such as Applebee’s Chili’s, Olive Garden, and IHOP, are offering selected free entrees for veterans on Veterans Day.
