An aggravated burglary, with criminal damage, was reported about 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 4500 block of Walker Avenue, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
According to the report, an unknown suspect had entered the home through an open window and hid in a child’s room.
The victim and suspect struggled briefly, and the suspect escaped before officers arrived, according to police. No injuries were reported.
