Bridge rail maintenance scheduled Friday on I-435 in Wyandotte County

Bridge rail maintenance will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, on northbound I-435 – K-32, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.

The left lane will be closed, and traffic will be controlled using traffic cones and arrow board signs, according to KDOT.

Also, KDOT will work on pothole patching in Johnson County on Friday. There will be mobile lane closures on northbound and southbound I-435 from the Kansas River to 95th Street in Johnson County, according to KDOT.

Trucks with arrow boards and digital message boards will be placed to direct traffic through the mobile lane closures.
