Southbound I-435 right lane, from Kansas Avenue to Swartz Road, will be closed for bridge deck repair work beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, and reopening to all traffic at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, weather permitting.
According to the Kansas Department of Transportation, traffic will be directed through the project work zone through signs, cones and arrow boards.
Drivers should expect some delays during the daily peak time commutes and may wish to adjust their travel times, KDOT stated.
