George Brett and Luke Hochevar are two of the special guests who will appear at Cabela’s annual Fall Great Outdoors Day event.
George Brett, a Kansas City Royals Hall of Famer, will sign autographs from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15.
Luke Hochevar, Royals pitcher, also will sign autographs at the same time Saturday.
Cabela’s has scheduled guest appearances, seminars, family activities, sponsor exhibits, and product demonstrations at its Kansas City, Kan., location from Thursday, Aug. 13, to Monday, Sept. 7.
Saturday’s events also include seminars and a novice duck-calling contest at 3 p.m. The winner of the contest will receive Beavertail Duck Boat and a $250 Cabela’s gift card. Doors open at 8 a.m., with the first 50 in the door receiving a free duck call.
Other special guests Aug 15 include:
• Chad Belding, The Fowl Life and Dead Dog Walkin TV Show host, who will be on site from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will sign autographs from 1 to 2 p.m.
• Mark and Taylor Drury of “Drury Outdoors” will also be on site from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a meet and greet and a short question-and-answer seminar.
