The Kansas City, Kan., Board of Public Utilities was recently presented the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association.
This national award is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, and it represents a significant accomplishment by the utility and its management team.
