BPU board meeting dates changed in June

The Kansas City, Kansas, Board of Public Utilities will meet on Wednesday, June 8, instead of June 1, and also on Wednesday, June 22, instead of June 15.

Usually, the BPU meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 6 p.m.

Because of scheduling conflicts, the BPU board decided to change the June 2022 meetings to the second and fourth Wednesday, for that month only.

  1. My water consumption part of last months bill says I’m using 299.2 gallons of water per day. Long story short, if one can wrench his own natural gas lines throughout ones home and pass the gas company’s pressure test so one can keep living there then the others can be rest assured water line/plumbing with in the same home is easier to deal with. Why the rip off with the water bill? Oh, before I forget – gaining access to a Bobcat trencher, shovel and a pick is affordable and a great way to get in shape, though time consuming. Yes, I did that work here on my own…….. is there correlation between those who pay the monthly HomeServe fee and receive cheaper water/utility rates vs those who don’t pay the extra fee and thus pay higher electric/water rates?
