The Bonner Springs Police Department conducted an undercover alcohol purchase investigation on Dec. 23, according to the police department’s social media post.
The investigation was conducted in conjunction with Alcohol Beverage Control.
Nine local businesses sold alcohol to underage people, the police department reported. Several businesses did not sell to underage buyers, police added.
The Bonner Springs Police Department also is participating in a statewide “Taking Down DUI” traffic enforcement campaign from Dec. 26 to Jan. 3.
