A boil water advisory for Board of Public Utilities customers in Edwardsville, southwestern Kansas City, Kan., and Lake of the Forest has been lifted, according to a BPU spokesman.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment lifted the boil advisory on Saturday, the spokesman stated.
The boil advisory was originally issued after a loss of water pressure because of a water main break near I-70 and 86th Street, according to a BPU spokesman. Testing has shown there is no evidence of contamination and all other risk factors have been resolved.
