The body of a teenager, possibly a drowning victim, was recovered from Pierson Park Lake in the Turner area this afternoon, according to authorities.
Rescue crews searched the lake this morning, and found the body of a 17-year-old male in the afternoon, according to a spokeswoman for the Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Department.
Officials are notifying the relatives of the deceased teen today, and an autopsy may be done on Monday.
