Two blood drives were scheduled today for the Community Blood Center.
Frontier Justice, 10000 France Family Drive, is having a Community Blood Center mobile blood drive in the special event room from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22.
The University of Kansas Medical Center has scheduled a Community Blood Center blood drive in the Health Education Building, 2146 W. 39th Ave., from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22.

Blood donations have been down across the nation since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and blood is needed, according to the CBC.
Other upcoming CBC blood drives include 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at City Hall, Unified Government, 701 N. 7th St., main lobby; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 4 and 5 at Sporting Kansas CIty at Children’s Mercy Park, 1 Sporting Way, Kansas City, Kansas.
