An American Red Cross blood drive is planned on Oct. 24 at Donnelly College, 608 N. 18th St., Kansas City, Kansas.
The blood drive will take place from 1 to 5 p.m.
According to a spokesman for the Red Cross, donors of all blood types are needed to help ensure a sufficient supply for patients this fall, especially after Hurricane Florence and subsequent flooding forced the cancellation of more than 6,000 blood and platelet donations last month.
