Today, it will be sunny with a high near 67, and highs will continue in the 50s and 60s through midweek, with overnight lows in the 30s and 40s, the weather service said. This afternoon will have the highest temperatures expected this week, as a cold front will push through later today.
Rain chances will move into the area late Wednesday, but chances remain low, according to the weather service.
The best opportunity for rain will be across portions of eastern into central Kansas, with chances dropping farther to the east, weather forecasters stated. Low rain chances will linger into early Friday.

Tuesday night, it will be mostly clear with a low of 38 and an east wind of 6 mph, according to the weather service.
Wednesday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 58 and an east wind of 5 to 7 mph, the weather service said.
