Barnyard Babies to be Saturday at Ag Hall

Miniature train rides will be part of Barnyard Babies on Saturday at the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame, 126th and State Avenue, Bonner Springs. The event, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. features the opportunity for visitors to ride a miniature train, see baby animals, learn about life on a farm, participate in a tractor petting zoo and kiddie pedal pull contest. The Barnyard Babies Family Festival will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame, 126th and State Avenue, Bonner Springs.

Visitors may experience a day on the farm, with baby animals, lambs, llamas, baby chicks, pony rides, a tractor petting zoo, train rides, games, a farmers market, pedal power, with Touch-a-Truck, Mater and Lightning also a part of the event.

In addition, there are plans for flying giant kites, crafts for kids and more activities.

Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for children ages 3-12 and free for children under 3.
